DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform analysis of pesticide residues in food matrices using GC-MS/MS
• Execute sample preparation techniques such as:
o QuEChERS (AOAC / EN methods)
o Liquid-liquid extraction (LLE)
o Solid phase extraction (SPE)
• Develop and validate analytical methods for multi-residue pesticide analysis
• Handle complex matrices such as:
o Spices and Spice products
o Fruits & vegetables
o Cereals & grains
o Processed foods
• Perform:
o Method validation (LOD, LOQ, recovery, precision, linearity)
• Troubleshoot instrument and method-related issues
• Maintain documentation as per ISO/ IEC 17025 / regulatory standards
• Support audits and compliance requirements
