Job Summary

Agri Division is looking for an experienced F&V Sourcing Cluster Lead to manage end-to-end sourcing operations for Fruits & Vegetables in the assigned cluster.

The role will be responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective and quality-compliant sourcing and supply from farmers, FPOs, aggregators and collection centres to Distribution Centres (DCs).

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end F&V sourcing operations across Open-to-Sky and CEA-linked sourcing models.
- Develop sourcing plans based on market demand, seasonality, crop cycles, production and availability.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply to DCs as per required quantity, quality and timelines.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with farmers, FPOs, aggregators and collection centres.
- Coordinate with branch sourcing, agronomy, QA, logistics and DC teams for smooth operations.
- Plan and monitor harvesting, aggregation, grading, packing and dispatch activities.
- Ensure adherence to defined quality, grade, size, residue and packaging specifications.
- Monitor rejections, shortfalls, transit losses and implement corrective actions.
- Manage farm-to-DC logistics and ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) dispatches.
- Track sourcing performance, procurement volumes, rejection %, cost/kg and service levels.
- Prepare regular MIS and sourcing performance reports.
- Identify and proactively manage risks related to crop failure, weather, supply gaps and logistics.
- Drive sourcing and logistics cost optimization without compromising quality or service.
- Train and develop sourcing teams to improve quality and operational performance.
- Conduct regular field visits and maintain strong communication with farmers and field teams.

Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of Fruits & Vegetables sourcing and fresh produce supply chain.
- Good understanding of seasonality, crop cycles and regional supply dynamics.
- Strong negotiation and supplier/farmer management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder coordination and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Highly responsive, field-oriented and willing to travel.
- Experience in sourcing Tomato, Green Chilli, Green Peas or Exotic Vegetables will be an added advantage.

Eligibility
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Agriculture, Horticulture, Supply Chain, Operations Management or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Agri Sourcing, F&V Supply Chain, Fresh Produce Operations or allied sectors.
- Experience working with farmers, FPOs, aggregators, collection centres or CEA-linked sourcing will be preferred.
