About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor (Kharidi) will oversee all activities related to the receipt, storage, and dispatch of agricultural inputs and produce. You will lead a team of warehouse staff, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinate with procurement and logistics functions to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, unloading, inspection, storage, and dispatch of agricultural goods.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and use of warehouse management software.
- Lead, train, and evaluate a team of warehouse assistants and material handlers, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the procurement (kharidi) department to align incoming shipments with purchase orders and forecasted demand.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 9 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in the agriculture sector.
- Strong knowledge of kharidi processes, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team and resolve operational issues.
- Excellent communication in Hindi and English, and proficiency with warehouse management systems.
