agrifood processors are linked with the customized processing needs of major buyers in both domestic and global
markets. Additionally, Agrizy assists these processors in sourcing raw materials from farm-gate aggregators and
FPOs, standardizing their operations and processing facilities through technology, obtaining quality certifications,
and enabling access to working capital from formal lenders at competitive rates.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Executive – Repair & Maintenance to support the
maintenance and upkeep of plant machinery and equipment in a fried snacks/food processing
manufacturing environment. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, ensuring maximum
equipment uptime, and supporting smooth production operations. Candidates with experience in fried
snacks, namkeen, chips, extruded snacks, or FMCG food manufacturing plants will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in monitoring and maintaining production machinery used in fried snacks and food processing
operations.
● Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.
● Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to fryers, seasoning systems, conveyors, packaging machines,
compressors, and utility equipment.
● Ensure timely maintenance of plant machinery to achieve production targets.
● Maintain maintenance logs, equipment history, and daily reports.
● Coordinate with vendors and technicians for machine servicing and repairs.
● Support spare parts planning and inventory management.
● Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety standards during maintenance activities.
● Work closely with Production and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
● Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
● 0–2 years of experience in maintenance within the fried snacks, namkeen, chips, extruded snacks,
FMCG food manufacturing, or food processing industry.
● Hands-on knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
● Basic understanding of fryers, conveyors, seasoning systems, packaging machines, motors, pumps,
compressors, and utility equipment.
● Knowledge of GMP, food safety standards, and manufacturing best practices will be an added
advantage.
● Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and communication skills.
● Willingness to work in shifts and support production operations.
