Job Description
As a Manager Agri Input Seed, Responsible for managing the Seeds product portfolio. Your strategic vision and operational expertise will
drive sales, optimize sourcing, and ensure seamless execution across the supply chain. If you’re passionate

Responsibilities:
1. Sales Planning and Execution:
o Develop comprehensive monthly, yearly, and long-term sales plans for the Seed category.
o Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies
at the ground level.
o Monitor sales performance, identify gaps, and take corrective actions.
2. Vendor Partnerships and Sourcing:
o Forge strategic partnerships with Seed companies in India.
o Negotiate product allocations and pricing terms.
o Ensure timely sourcing of Seeds to meet demand.
o Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams for timely deliveries.
3. Market Understanding and Compliance:
o Maintain a deep understanding of the Seed market, including trends, pricing, and competitive
landscape.
o Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
o Monitor on-field compliance related to product handling and safety.
4. Industry Networking and Relationships:
o Utilize your strong network within the Indian Seed industry.
o Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
o Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and industry experts.

Qualifications:

o BSc. / MSc. In Agriculture, preferred with MBA
o Min 7 years years of experience in Seed sales or category management at Zonal / National
level with Good Industry connect
o Proven track record of managing product categories & targets
o Excellent negotiation skills and vendor management abilities.
o Familiarity with Indian Seeds regulations and market dynamics.
o Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
o Effective communication and leadership capabilities.
o Nature of job is Hybrid (Office & Travel), preferred inclination towards travel
